1969

1969 John Jager and Dick de Lange found J&D Farmers Dairy Service, supplying everything from Abbotsford to Richmond.
1993

Albert moves the business from Railway Ave in Abbotsford to its present location on Riverside Road, and expands the business to offer more for dairy farmers.
2001

J&D opens a warehouse in Enderby and begins servicing all of mainland BC.
2013

The warehouse in the back is expanded, going from a small coverall shelter to a 7200 square foot building, complete with a welding fabrication shop.
2018

DeLaval releases the VMS™ V300 with unparalleled success, J&D installed the first V300 in BC in 2018 and has been steadily installing them since.
1979

Albert de Lange, Dick's son, takes over the business in 1979.
Mid 90's

The business expands to include comprehensive barn design and equipment, making J&D a one stop shop for every
barn need.
2002

The first DeLaval VMS Milking Robot in Western Canada is installed at Del Dairy Farm by J&D Farmers Dairy Service.
2016

Ryan de Lange succeeds Albert and takes over the company, becoming the third generation of the de Lange family to run J&D.
1989

J&D Farmers buys out Valley dairy service and expands to service everything from Richmond to Chilliwack.
2019
J&D celebrates its 55th anniversary and would like to thank all of the customers and dedicated staff that have helped make the business what it is today!

DeLaval releases Artificial Intelligence powered Behaviour Analysis software which helps improve labour efficiency, reproduction outcomes, and animal productivity, welfare and health by actively tracking and reporting data to the farmer.
